Disc Cover is a slick and intuitive Mac OS X software to create labels and covers for CDs, DVDs and more. Disc Cover 3.0 introduces new templates, multipage booklets, song lyrics import, barcodes, and more. A variety of professionally made designs are just fine for a quick start. The program imports data and images from iTunes, iPhoto, Finder, iDVD and many other sources.

100+ New Template Kits

Disc Cover 3.0 includes an overhauled Assistant with over 100 new CD and DVD template kits for your favorite music, video, and photo collections. Among these new templates are themed designs for weddings, kids, travel, business, and more, all broken up into easy-to-navigate categories.

Multipage Booklets

Creating a booklet with album liner notes or lyrics in Disc Cover is simple and quick thanks to new support for master pages and duplex printing. Master pages allow you to create a common theme or background and apply them to as many pages as necessary. The pages are automatically imposed so that the they are in the correct order when folded.

Lyrics From iTunes and Internet

So you have just burned a CD of your favorite tunes for a friend. Ever wish you could share the lyrics too? Disc Cover can now search for and import lyrics stored in iTunes and the Internet for use in your project. This is a great way to utilize new multipage booklets!

Video as a Design Tool

The video import features have greatly improved since version 2. Disc Cover can now import video from iDVD, iTunes, iPhoto, or QuickTime-compatible files, extract a frame of your choice, and place it in your project as an image file for use in your design.

Barcodes and Data Fields

For musicians and other professionals we have included support for barcodes and data fields that help you create serial numbers. These two features come in handy when designing a disc for mass production and sale. Supported barcodes include UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN 13, EAN 8, Code 128, Data Matrix ASCII, and QR Code.

New Text and Layout Tools

To help out with multipage booklets we have implemented flowing text boxes and text wrap in Disc Cover 3. This version also includes a brand new vertical text tool that comes in handy when creating text for a CD spine. You'll find that creating a layout in Disc Cover 3 has become much simpler thanks to the new rulers, guides, and reworked Smart Guides.

DiscCover users can easily experiment with styles and graphic tools. With Disc Cover, both the optical disc itself as well as its jewel case can be designed individually.

The incorporated advanced printing technology supports direct-to-disc printers like Primera’s award-winning Disc Publisher line of CD/DVD/BD publishers including the Disc Publisher SE, DP-XRP- and DP-4100-Series.

Disc Cover 3.0 runs with Mac OS X 10.5 or later and is available in English, German, French and Spanish languages.
